Generate an API token

DataStories allows you to access some functionalities through an API. This feature can be particularly useful for users of the SDK in cloud environments, like Databricks.

In order to generate API tokens, you can reach the Settings menu, and hit the API keys and sessions tab.

Clicking the Generate key button allows you to directly generate a new key, which should appear down the list.

You can revoke existing keys and sessions. Sessions are piece of information that keep you logged in to the platform. By revoking a given session, you can log out the corresponding client.
